An Update on Clue Chase'S NYC Escape Rooms

It’s been a little while. 

We wanted to take a moment to update our local community, and the broader world of escape room fans, on what we’re up to, and what our plans are, moving forward into a post-Covid world. So, we’re doing that. 

Over the past year we’ve dedicated ourselves to building out and expanding upon a new online only escape game infrastructure. This was a big change for all of us, as moving from physical props and gadgets to code and animations is a bit of an undertaking. However, we have been very pleased with the response from everyone who has had the chance to play these games, and we’re working on more to be released this spring and throughout the rest of the year. So, stay tuned for those. 

Our physical escape room location still exists, with all the rooms intact, but at the moment the city’s numbers don’t fully inspire confidence, and our staff aren’t yet fully vaccinated. We’re looking to re-open for in person play by the end of summer or early fall, and we couldn’t be more excited to get back to welcoming guests into our physical escape room venue. 

Until that time we’ll continue to work on our game designs, our plans for reopening, and we’ll be running remote events for teams, families or anyone interested. We’re running with a bit of a skeleton crew at the moment, but we try to get back to everyone within 24 hours. 

We can’t wait to get back to in-person play with you all, it’s going to be a blast.
