Bar Mitzvah Escape Rooms
Here at Clue Chase we host events and parties for all manner of groups – from families out for an afternoon on the town, to large corporate team building events, to birthday parties, anniversaries and even proposals. Recently we have started to host custom events for large Bar and Bat Mitzvahs here in the city. Now, you may be thinking “Silly Clue Chase, I’m sure you’ve hosted games directly related to helping celebrate a Mitzvah before” and that might be true. We don’t usually know why large groups of people show up and play our escape rooms. They just sort of appear. (We’re joking of course, we have staff dedicated to helping large groups with the planning and booking process, which we strive to make as painless as possible). But in this case – these Bar Mitzvah games were something entirely new for us.
The Entirely New Thing
Clue Chase is now offering interested families the opportunity to have an entirely custom game experience created just for their event. These are distinct from classic escape rooms, in that the game takes place at your event venue, and can be scaled in such a way as to allow hundreds of people to take part simultaneously. We work with families and event planners every step of the way, from ideation through final delivery. For these puzzle games we fabricate custom props and interactive elements based on your proposed theme. Whether that be ancient Egypt, Doctor Frankenstein’s Lab, a Medieval dungeon – or wherever your imagination may take you, we’ll make a game that fits that motif.
These are not re-used or cheaply manufactured games – every element is hand built and designed by the same in house team that has built and designed our permanent escape rooms over the years. If this is of interest to you, you should reach out a minimum of four to five months in advance, however the longer we have the more we’ll be able to do for you.
We’ve already begun running these events and have received a very positive response – look here, or on our upcoming dedicated bar mitzvah page for more specific feedback as we are able to share it, as well as a limited selection of cleared images from the events. Lastly, we feel we should note that these games can be built and run for any large event, with the proper notice – just, at the moment we’ve only done it for Bar Mitzvahs, and we know our games have gone over well with them. (With the adults as well as the kids – everyone who wants to play, can play.) (Admittedly, if we were tasked with creating a game for an older age demographic, we’d make the puzzles a bit harder. But don’t tell the kids.)
